For the first time in ten years of driving(Really? That long?), I saw fireflies while driving through Nebraska at night. Seemed like there was a lot of them today, but now that's the only one I can remember. Yes, I'm sniffling, sneezing, coughing, and the resperatory system is inflamed and currently a phlegm factory. Strangely though, the mood is rather on the up side, all things considered. Three items possibly related to this illness have sprung to mind.

Well, decided regardless of how I got here I can still run my energy since it seems I could use it. Sometimes I feel it's making the best of a bad situation, but it works nonetheless. Just as an experiment I tried running the entire spectrum, one color at a time just to note which ones I would react to the most. I'll try to recall.

I forgot to mention that while at Sunfest, I was in line for the communal dinner and smiling up a storm, in Oregon's case almost literally since around that time the drizzle started. Normally we think of certain gods as being one gender or the other, Apollo being male, Bastet being female for example. But then again, the gods are supposed to go beyond and before such concepts as gender, so maybe we've been mistaken? Because recently I may have just seen a female form of Anpu(Anubis). Rather remarkable.

It starts off with me driving the truck up to some kind of mansion set back into the forest. I see one or more other trucks parked off to my left and pull alongside them, and get out.
